m83 were appointed through a recommendation through a client in Leicester. From the initial meeting it came apparent this project was going to be something unique. Home to Nottingham’s oldest arcade, a number of independant shops declined in recent years down to neglict and lack of investment. After months of negative press we decided to develop a narrative between client and community by ensuring redevelopment plans included areas for the community. A full refurbishment of the entire building and upgrade of all amenity spaces and reconnecting the urban vista to Upper Parliament Street.
